Twenty Century Color Photography Pioneers

This publication is the accumulation of the twenty century’s most prominent color photographers. I was deeply inspired by these photographers’ accomplishments, and how they changed the public perception of color photography as not only a format to capture travel memories and family portraits. Instead, these six photographers showcase our world's beauty and truth through color photography as an art form. And these photographs now serve as an invaluable guide, influencing my approach to photography and design.

The book is divided into six sections, six colors each representing one photographer and one section. I was inspired by these common warm tones found in the work of the photographers featured in the book, and I believe it suits the topic of Twenty Century Photography.

I incorporate color into the interview section for legibility and characteristic.

An example of the layout of a section, the book provides some valuable artist information, and then the featured photographs come after.
