Passionate about Bluegrass music for years, I'm thrilled to infuse my love for the genre into a rebranding project for Planet Bluegrass. With a growing number of young artists and fans in the scene, I aim to update their identity system to resonate with this new audience while honoring Bluegrass's authentic roots.

Planet Bluegrass

Posters

The visual language of Planet Bluegrass draws inspiration from vintage Bluegrass album covers from the 1960s, as well as the rustic Americana aesthetic. The design is infused with condensed type and incorporates numerous circular elements, reflecting the theme of the "planet" in Planet Bluegrass.

Planet Bluegrass offers three major festivals each year, I created a series of posters to advertise for each. I used the shape of the iconic stage at Planet Bluegrass to host the name of each festival, and I divided the three into distinct bold colors.

After its discontinuation in 2010, Planet Bluegrass is excited to revive the guidebook for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Starting this year, attendees will once again receive a comprehensive and useful guide, providing all the essential information they need for a memorable experience at Telluride.

Festival Guide

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, we are honoring the monumental impact of female Bluegrass musicians in the scene. I have designed a series of posters showcasing three talented female musicians who will be performing at Telluride. Additionally, I created a dedicated website where Bluegrass enthusiasts can learn more about these incredible artists and their contributions to the genre.
